Ubud welcomed this long anticipated year, with Michael Franti on a soggy football field in Nyuh Kuning. All proceeds went to Bumi Sehat – who are still celebrating Robin Lim wining the CNN ‘Hero of the Year’ award. I LOVE when the whole town comes out to play together. We had our 1st Alchemy booth/stall – selling 1000 raw chocolate truffles, cacao elixirs & cocobiotic champagne – we were well fueled throughout the night..

I usually choose to spend NYE in, alone. Content to order, clean, write, light candles, sit quietly – did I mention cleaning?.. and silently slide breathe into the fresh year, listening to the sounds of fireworks & celebrations. Then awake early on January 1st, clear, sober & excited – to walk in the park, while setting intentions. Not this year. Ooh, change is afoot Sukes!
